Horyaal company is a group of companies established 2011. It started as a general trading and our major focus was importation of commodities such as rice, sugar, wheat flour, naturally flavored fruit juices, tea, and spaghetti, cooking oils. The company also involved importation of all kinds building materials.

 

Location: Hargeisa, Berbera, Wajaale, Closing date: December 31, 2011

Horyaalco is looking qualified following positions

Position :-  2 marketing

Key Responsibilities include:

 

1. Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
2.  Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
3.  Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging.
4. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
5. Provide status reports to management
6. Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint experience

       7. University degree in Marketing /business administration and economics.

8. At least 2 years of experience in Business management, including at least 3 years   in   a similar role in a development context, preferably with Companies

 

Position:- 2 Accounting

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

· Managed all the financial accounting activities (cash receipt, cash maintenance, cash disbursements, cash advances and petty) transactions proper documentations of the Company.

· Prepare comprehensive financial reports and summary of the actual expenses, budgeted expenditures and variances of the company on a monthly and quarterly basis.

· Upgraded the internal control systems of Horyaal offices.

· Keep and run keep all the documents records of the organization including financial, personnel, assets/materials inventories, vehicle, procurement, communication and other administrative records.

· University degree in finance/accounting /business administration .

· At least 1 years of experience in financial management, including at least 3 years in a similar role in a development context, preferably with companies
